Abstract

This research proposes the ISO 9126 quality model as a useful tool for assessing the e-learning system, particularly for teachers and education administrators. This web based evaluator model using Analytical Hierarchy Process approach demonstrates the validity of the model in a case study where the model was applied to an available e-learning system and showed that this can be used to detect design errors. The system proposes the metric that would be applicable to other e-learning systems and could be used as the basis of comparison for reporting on implementation decisions.
