Abstract

The article presents results from the study 1722-M /2017, conducted in the Technical University of Gabrovo, BG. A Au/TiO2 composite consisting of a nanoparticle of gold (~ 15nm) in porous TiO2 is synthesized. The composite was made by applying nanoparticles Au first with a SiO2 layer and then coating the composite with a TiO2 layer. Applications of nanocomposites in ecology and energy are explored.
