Abstract

Cloud computing is achieving increased popularity among both, researchers and practitioners; while security is one of the major issues which reduces its growth and complications with data privacy and data protection continue to plague the market. Stimulated by the promising solutions of Semantic Web (also known as Web 3.0) for addressing the problems of management and monitoring of services shared by different parties (with different semantics and interests), the service-oriented transformations over cloud-computing processes are today a rapidly growing demand. In this paper we go one step further and propose methodology for increasing cyber security over cloud services by using Semantic Web technology, hierarchical ontology and intelligent reasoning techniques.
