Abstract

This paper proposes the prototype of a centralized system for archiving and viewing cultural artifacts in 3D based on WebGL technology. The objectives of this project are providing a platform to integrate data from different museums and providing services for both cultural experts and public entities to visualize artifacts in 3D. The prototype include three parts, which are Producer side, Server side, and Consumer side. In addition, the result of the system could enable the exchange of knowledge and experience between people in their societies.
