Abstract

Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) as a manifestation of multivariate analysis studied to be used as an instrument for decision making in factor analysis of water pollution. Variance based SEM could help with variables of water pollution which consists of qualitative and quantitative variables. Linear structural equation model obtained as a result of the study shows the contribution level among pollution factors. T-statistic values obtained by doing bootstrap model resample show the significances of pollution factors. Study resulted on conclusion that variance based Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using Partial Least Square method (PLS-SEM) is sufficient enough to help decision making related to water pollution factors.
