Abstract

The rapid advancements of technology whereby mobile phones combined with software tools used to foster connectivity and the expansion of electronic services for financial transactions, commerce, education, medicine, entertainments and communication in various forms has increased the scope of the terrain of social engineering attackers and expanded both the scope and severity of threats. So far the security techniquesproposed do not conform with the severity and the nature of treats. In this paper social engineering techniques to counter social engineering are proposed.
